Inspiration:
" This piece was originally inspired by an unusual credenza design found in Fine Woodworking. I modified the design a lot to make it work as a fancy scrollsaw work station for my high school woodshop. But I was also inspired by a Chinese wedding chest, so I added a brass fish logo in the shape of my teacher's personal logo. I built solid-wood drawers with finger joints, and stuck with the fish theme by using bass wood for drawer fronts, and brass fish drawer pulls. I gave the credenza to my high school shop teacher as a gift for all he has done for me. He is loaning the credenza back to me to enter in the BAWA show."

" I make wooden scrollsaw art to relax, and sometimes to raise money for my Boy Scout Eagle project. I started making a simple fish on my uncle Dean McCully's "
